Sir Ivan Stedeford Hospital 200 Bedded Multispecialty Hospital (A Unit of A.M.M .Foundation) providing medical care to poor and marginalized sections of the society living in and around Ambattur, Avadi, Thiruvallur region. The opening of the Hospital in 1966 on the Avadi – Ambattur Trunk Road marked a significant milestone in the history of the AMM Charities Foundation. The multi-specialty hospital has been serving about 5 lakhs patients a year. As a mark of respect to this illustrious entrepreneur, the Hospital to be run by the Trust.
The Hospital is situated in an area of 25 acres and was started on 25th February 1966. Initially, the Hospital functioned with an Out-Patient Department. The Hospital has expanded its activity and has grown into a 236 bedded multi specialty hospital.
