Plastindia International University (PIU) is set up under the Gujarat Private University act, in technical partnership with the University of Massachusetts, Lowell (UML), USA. It is sponsored by the Plastindia Foundation and will offer a 4 year degree course in Plastics Engineering followed by Research programs and degree courses in other branches of relevance. The emphasis of UG program will be the hands on experience in Polymer Processing, Recycling, Sustainability, Circular Economy, Product Design & New Materials. The PIU shall provide skill development at various stages in view of the global markets of future and ‘Make in India’ policy. The new academic year will begin from August September 2022.
