JSS Science & Technology University, established in the year 2016 under JSS Science & Technology University Act 43 of 2013 of Government of Karnataka, with a mission of meeting the changing demand of the society in the area of Science & Technology, nationally and internationally- In the first two years of starting of the University, it has been ranked at all India level. 39th place, by Indian Institutions Ranking Framework (IIRF- 2019), To lead this University and take it to the next level, JSS Science & Technology University invites education leaders, highly qualified persons with extensive experience of Research and Teaching, Administrative capabilities and Leadership qualities, to send in their candidature for the post of Vice-Chancellor

1.  Having experience in areas of administration, research and development, student affairs, academic and education affairs.
2.  Must be a Strategic thinker and a visionary to be able to grow the Institution in terms of scale and size, a person with enthusiasm and energy, an excellent communicator and listener, a leader who creates successful teams and oversees projects and staff, maintains positive relationship with Internal stakeholders
3.  Proven Record of International Exchange Programmes and Good Corporate/Industry Connect
4.  Must pursue a vision for the Institution in coordination with other senior members and put the vision into action in terms of academic goals
5.  Capable in use of Technology in Education to apply to Continuing Education and Distance Education
6.  Experience in Outcome Based Education
