It is an innovative “for teaching” University with a vision to be one of the top Institutions in Gujarat in the next five years. It is sponsored by the GSFC Education Society – an Initiative of Gujarat State Fertilizers and Chemicals Ltd. & presently offers courses in Engineering, Science. Management and Fire & SHE with major emphasis on skill development and producing industry ready manpower.

Responsibilities: Provost (Vice Chancellor) shall be responsible for providing Academic and Strategic Leadership. Policy and Planning and liaisoning with academic bodies & Industry to make GSFC University as one of the leading Universities in the country.

The Person: The person should have a proven record of leadership and institution building in Academics. Industry, or Corporate environment: a strong operational mentality to ensure successful delivery of goals and plans; a high level of managerial competence; ability and willingness to work closely with diverse group of university stakeholders and the ability to create good environment for industry related Research and Development.

Salary shall not be a constraint for the right candidate. University will offer subsidized accommodation and attractive perks.
