GHRU invites applications for the position of Vice Chancellor to be stationed at the University campus from candidates who have sound administrative experience with exceptionally good academic and research record and can lead with world-class and innovative techniques.

Post Name:- Vice Chancellor

Vice Chancellor being the academic as well as administrative head is expected to be:-

• Visionary with proven leadership qualities, administrative capabilities as well as teaching and research credentials.
• Having outstanding academic record with Ph.D and minimum of 10 years of experience as a Professor in a university system or in an equivalent position in a reputed applied research and/or academic administrative organization.
• Having administrative experience in the field of Higher Education not below the rank of Head of national /International Institution.
• Experienced in the field of Skill Development and applied research.
• Experienced of working with international bodies and international exposure to best practices in the field higher education. Skill Development
• Good in establishing strategic relationships and collaborations with industry.
• Candidates with experience as Vice Chancellor will be preferred.

Procedure of appointment:-

• Appointment will be made from a panel of names recommended by the Selection Committee.
• Candidates below 60 years of age will be given preference.
• Appointee shall hold the office for 3 years.
