Post Name: Vice Chancellor
Roles and Responsiblities:

• Set a vision for the University along with the Chancellor and other senior members in the Board
• establish long term and short term plans for the University
• set academic goals for each department, build a cohesive team of Department Heads / Deans and establish a culture of excellence in the university
• Upgrade / oversee Teaching Learning processes to bring them at par with world class universities
• Encourage faculty members towards research, projects, consultancy and patents
• Lead all academic matters, initiate, participate and supervise academic planning. Oversee academic programs and curriculum development
• coordinate with other campuses and external groups and agencies on academic programs
• Play an active role in getting the university’s programs accredited with ABET / AACSB. Help the university in achieving the QS ranking
• Strengthening the image of the university by networking with academic and business organizations across the world
• Known in the academic circles for the excellence in academics in terms of number of publications, research projects and faculty development work. Patents in his / her name will be an advantage
• Proven ability as a leader, who can create successful teams and oversee multiple projects
