Safety Officer Job Vacancy at Elgi Equipments Limited Coimbatore
Post Name: Safety Officer
Qualification and Experience:-
Master of Engineering – Industrial Safety/Diploma in Industrial Safety recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu with more than 7 years of relevant experience.
Skill:- Conducting mock drill and safety committee meetings, storage & handling of hazardous waste and chemicals. Exposure on statutory requirements related to industrial safety, industrial safety requirements, PPE., systems and procedures followed in the manufacturing industry, and work permit system policy related to Employee Health and Safety (“EHS”)plan.
Providing training on EHS to employees.
To perform the duties as per the Tamil Nadu Factories Rules, 1950 and Tamil Nadu Safety Officers (Duties, Qualifications, and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2005.
Possessing knowledge on IS0 14001 and OHSAS 18001 will be an added advantage.
