The group has set up a new state private University as per the Maharashtra State Assembly act XXXVI of 2020 by the name, D. Y. Patil Agriculture & Technical University, Talsande which is located about 22km from Kolhapur. The University is spread over 150 acres of lush green campus.

The University is established with a vision of providing experiential learning to the students with multi-disciplinary courses in various fields of higher education. The university will be operational from the academic year 2021- 22.
