Post Name:- Pro Vice-Chancellor (Technical)

•  The Incumbent shall be familiar with AICTE and UGC norms and standards and shall also be able to co-ordinate with state level regulating agencies.
•  Candidates are expected to have been in academic roles in top class Institutions (NAAC A+/A grade Institutions), having experience in accreditation with external bodies like NBA (National Board of Accreditation). ABET (Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology) and AACSB for Business Education.
•   A person with high level of competence, integrity, moral and Institutional commitment.
•   Excellent track record of academic administration 4 implementation of statutory regulations.
•   Provide strategic growth plan and leadership to all administrative functions, enhancement of research, academic and co-curricular activities.
•   Set up Centres of Excellence in emerging fields to promote Research & Development

Qualification and Experience: The incumbent should be a distinguished academician with a Doctorate degree in engineering preferably from IISc / IITs/ NITs and should have led major research projects/Institution. He/She shall have a minimum of 20 years of experience as a professor in a university system or in an equivalent position in a reputed research or academic Institution

Salary as per UGC Pay Scales / higher scales can be considered for the right candidate.
