Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham School of Agricultural Sciences, Applications are invited from experienced and qualified candidates for the position of Dean, Amrita School of Agricultural Sciences.

Post Name:- Dean

•  The incumbent will hold responsibility for the academic and outreach leadership of the School and management of its resources. The position will oversee the School’s critical research and educational programs that address the needs of the agriculture and farming sector.
•   We are looking for a person with doctorate from an accredited institution and an outstanding record of scholarly achievement commensurate with appointment as full professor or an associate professor with minimum of 10 years of experience in research/teaching and administration.

The ideal candidate will have:-

•  A proven track record of engaging external stakeholders and the complex issues impacting the agricultural and/or natural resources communities with sufficient experience in building partnerships, trust and confidence within these stakeholder groups.
•  Knowledge of government policy, advocacy organizations, and legislative processes that influence and affect agriculture and environmental sciences.

Post Name:- Professors /Associate Professors
Will hold a Doctoral degree in agriculture or allied disciplines with minimum 10 years of experience in the field of agriculture research / teaching / administration. The ideal candidate will have good scholarly papers in reputed international/national journals with Good Impact Factor. Age will be less than 50 years.

Post Name:- Assistant Professors
Candidates holding a post graduate degree in the following disciplines with NET or Ph.D. in the respective disciplines, with good academic and professional record.

•  Agronomy
•  Plant Breeding & Genetics.
•  Agricultural Extension
•  Agricultural Statistics
•  Entomology
•  Soil Science
•  Plant Physiology
•  Plant Pathology
•  Horticulture
