The company’s products include CNC Machining Centers and allied components. Makino’s philosophy is to provide value to CNC machines by offering Turnkey engineering services. The company’s state-of-art facility in Bangalore encompasses all its business processes including manufacturing, marketing, supply chain, customer support etc. Over 100 crores have been invested in its Indian operations, spread over several locations in India. The manufacturing facility is set up on par with Japan to produce high quality Machine tools. General Manager – operations Location: Bangalore Responsibility: The General Manager-Manufacturing will oversee the entire operations of Manufacturing Department of the company, including Supply Chain Management. The position demands the incumbent to be Process Oriented with quality consciousness and ear for customer voice. Makino being a premium brand , candidate must have good appreciation to qualify, housekeeping, Japanese manufacturing principles and philosophy Profile: The incumbent should be a graduate or post graduate in Mechanical Engineering in the age group of 35 to 45 years. He should have preferably worked in Manufacturing Department of a capital goods or automotive industry. Hands on experience in CNC machine shop is must. Experience in Supply Chain Management is desirable. General Manager – Customer Support Location: Bangalore Responsibility: The General Manager-Customer Support will oversee the entire operations of Customer Support Department of India. He shall manage resources, ensure Customer Satisfaction in providing parts and services on time. He should be ready to travel across India as required to motivate, plan and lead regional teams. The position involves co-ordination with Japan and Singapore for product training, manage spare part inventory, set up training centre for staff and customer training on CNC Machines. Profile: The incumbent should be a graduate or post graduate in Mechanical Engineering / Electronics in the age group of 35 to 45 years. He should have preferably worked in Customer Support Department of a Machine Tool or related industry. The incumbent should have a mindset for 7 days a week customer support operation and very engaging with customer support staff. Makino is a premium brand in Machine Tools and customer support should match such expectation. Senior Manager /Asst. General Manager Turnkey Projects (Production Machinery Business Unit) Location: Bangalore Responsibility: The incumbent will have overall end to end project management & delivery responsibility for tooled up turnkey solutions, engineering and manufacturing, prove out and commissioning at customer site, collections and satisfactory conclusion of the project. The job also involves internal co-ordination, managing receivables, budgetary controls, ERP and ISO compliance. Apart from leadership, the candidate must have ownership of the project, accuracy, time line and cost management which are the key attributes. Profile: The incumbent should be a graduate or post graduate in Mechanical Engineering in the age group of 35 to 45 years. The incumbent should have similar or project management experience of at least 5-10 years in a similar position. The incumbent should also posses manufacturing operation knowledge, project execution background and conversant in MS Project / MS office tools. The position expects the incumbent to be conversant with the International Marketing Environment. He should have worked in Export Department of Capital Goods Industry and should have thorough knowledge of Export process and related commercial laws. He should have excellent communication skills. He should be able to asses and forecast export potential for the company product. Profile: The incumbent should be a Graduate or a Post Graduate in Mechanical Engineering in the age group of 30 to 35 years. He should have preferably worked in the International sales department of Capital goods industry of international repute.
