We require self-motivated and result oriented leaders for the following positions based at Tuticorin: Associate General Manager/General Manager Operations: (Ref. Code: LOPE) The Incumbent will be responsible for the complete operations of Smelter, Acid Plants, Refinery and Rod Plant. He should ensure maximization of profitability and returns to the stake holders, liaise with other executive heads on the implementation of operational plans and to ensure the strategic objectives are well understood and executed by heads of the department. The Ideal candidate should be a Metallurgy/Chemical Engineer with 8-12 years of experience. In-depth knowledge of business and experience in related field is the crux of the position. Associate General Manager/General Manager Acid Business: (Ref. Code: LHAB) The Incumbent will be responsible for Procurement of Rock Phosphate, Marketing of Sulphuric & Phosphoric Acids along with various by-products like Gypsum and Ferro Sand across the globe and also be responsible for achieving business goals of the Phosphoric Acid Plant. The turnover of the business to be handled exceeds $ 200 million per annum and responsibility shall be at the level of Managing P&l Account as an SBU Head. The ideal candidate should be a B.E/ MBA/ CA with 8-12 years of experience in Operation / Marketing / Finance function. The candidates having experience In Fertilizer / Bulk Chemical Industry will be given preference. Manager/Associate General Manager – Mechanical: (Ref. Code: LMEC) The Incumbent will be responsible for entire Plant Mechanical including Smelter, Acid Plants and Refinery. He should ensure continuous improvement and optimum utilization and availability of services according to business plan. The ideal candidate should be a Mechanical Engineer with 8-12 years of experience in maintenance department. Manager/Associate General Manager- Safety: (Ref. Code: LSFT) The incumbent will be leading the Safety Team and will oversee safety compliances of employees and contractors, risk assessment.facilitate training to staff, development and Implementation of risk control systems. The candidate should be a B.E/M.E in Industrial Safety or any Engineering degree with Diploma in Industrial Safety from RLI with 6-10 years of experience. The position is required to comply with the safety norms and Improve the safety standards of the organization. Associate Manager/Engineer -Operations (PAP/SAP): [Ref. Code: LAMO] The Incumbent will be assisting the Head Sulphuric/Phosphoric Acid Plant in day to day operations and coordinating & planning maintenance activities. He should have knowledge on shift planning, production planning, basic operations of pumps, vacuum belt fitters, vacuum pumps, slurry pumps, cooling tower operations, conveyor belts etc. The incumbent must be a BE/ B.Tech with 4-5 years of experience In the operation of Sulphuric /Phosphoric Acid Plant in the role of Shift In-charge/Area In-charge. Manager/ Associate General Manager – Industrial Hygienist (HSE) (Ref. Code: LIHY) The incumbent will be responsible for recognizing, evaluating and controlling Industrial Hygiene risk factors arising from the workplace. He should have a good knowledge of chemical, physical, safety and ergonomic processes. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene / Relevant Engineering Degree with a minimum of 8-12 years of practical experience in Industrial Hygiene monitoring in process industry. Manager/Associate Manager– Legal: (Ref. Code: LLGL) The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring Compliance of all applicable laws, vetting / drafting of contracts / agreements, preparing briefs, circulation of legal updates, support for litigation management and managing all legal issues related to the company. The incumbent should be a LLB with 8-10 years of experience. Additional qualification in Corporate laws / CS will be an added advantage. Strong interpersonal and analytical skills and in-depth knowledge about the business will be the key factors for selection. The ideal candidate should have sharp entrepreneurial acumen with a flair for leadership. The candidate having worked in continuous process industries such as cement/chemical/steel/large process industries is preferred. Head External Relations: (Ref. Code: LHER) Chennai / Tuticorin
The incumbent will be responsible to liaise with key stakeholders to facilitate smooth functioning of the company and its projects The incumbent will play a leadership role for Team PR & CSR. The ideal candidate should be a Graduate with MBA / PGDM in Public Relation/ Corporate Communication with minimum of 15 years experience in leading corporates. Candidate should have strong networking skills and be able to represent the company in industrial forums for brand building, deal with government departments / officials, formulation of strategy for ensuring excellent relations with all key stakeholders and execute the same to achieve desired results, lead CSR team in identifying and taking up suitable projects as required. Knowledge of Tamil is essential.
Head – Security: (Ref. Code: LHSE) – Tuticorin
The incumbent will be responsible for the implementation of the security policies, procedures and to achieve effective security network around the plant. Candidate should ensure the intelligence gathering and effective vigil in the local environment. The ideal candidate should be a Graduate with Ex-Defense / Paramilitary background and of the rank equivalent to Captain or above with 15 – 20 years of experience, out of which at least 3 years experience must be in an industrial establishment.
