Kanpur Fertilizers seeking for HOD and Technical Head

Kanpur Fertilizers & Cement Limited (KFCL), fertilizer arm of Jaypee Group is engaged in urea manufacturing under the brand name ‘Chand Chaap’ at its plant located at Kanpur. KFCL invites applications from dynamic leaders for the positions indicated below at Noida /Kanpur:

Post Name:- HOD (Procurement / Purchase)

B.E/B.Tech. (Mech.) with 25 – 28 years experience and at least 8 years experience in HOD capacity for a large sized fertilizer unit. Applicant must exhibit strong leadership and analytical skills along with robust experience in procurement & supply chain management including techno commercial evaluation and negotiations, vendor selection and development for procurement of equipment, raw material, spares, chemicals etc. in an ERP environment for a fertilizer plant.
Proficiency in developing and spearheading global sourcing strategies, rate contract management with a strong acumen in implementing cost saving measures to ensure greater efficiency for the plant is desirable.
Additional qualification of M.E/M.Tech/MBA or Diploma in Material Management will be given due weight age.

Post Name:- Technical Head (Projects)

B.E./B.Tech (Mech./Chemical) with 32 – 35 years experience and at least 10 years experience in HOD capacity in O & M and Project Engineering Services of Nitrogenous Fertilizers and Petrochemical Industries. Applicant must demonstrate excellence for ensuring finalization of technological improvement at plant with strong emphasis on energy efficiency and reliability and provide technical support by arranging/leveraging expertise through vendors and consultants.
Applicant must be adept at extending technical support to purchase functions, including technical evaluation of project proposals and schemes eventually culminating to project contract finalization, monitoring and control.
Additional qualification of M.E./M.Tech/MBA will be given due weight age.
