Director, Chef Instructor, Demonstrator and Store Keeper required for Symbiosis International University SIU

Symbiosis School of Culinary Arts (SSCA) announces a three-year, full-time B.Sc. (Culinary Arts) programme and invites applications for the following positions:

Director – SSCA
This B.Sc. (Culinary Arts) programme requires a well connected and passionate Director with a Degree / Diploma in Hotel Management from a reputed institute along with rich experience in the industry and in academics. He/she will be responsible for building a strong team of faculty to ensure effective delivery of the academic programme, to mentor students, to liaise with the hotel industry and statutory bodies, and to dynamically lead the institute to be the best in the domain.

Senior Chef Instructor
Must have a Degree / Diploma in Hotel Management with 12 years’ industry experience and a minimum of 5 years’ academic experience. In addition to teaching and conducting practical sessions, the candidate will provide the necessary exposure to students through co-curricular activities such as food exhibitions and will mentor them on internship and career opportunities.

Chef Instructor
Should have 8 years’ experience, with a minimum of 3 years in the academic domain of Hotel Management and a Degree / Diploma in Hotel Management from a reputed and recognised Institute.

Assistant Chef Instructor
Should have 5 years’ experience, with a minimum of 2 years in the academic domain of Hotel Management. Should have a Degree / Diploma in Hotel Management from a reputed and recognised Institute.

Technical Demonstrator, Chef Demonstrator and Store Keeper
Should have industry experience to support the Chef Instructors and be well versed in MS Office and relevant materials management techniques.
