Requires ADDITIONAL GENERAL MANAGER (Finance & Accounts) West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company Limited (WBSETCL) a wholly-owned profit-making Government of West Bengal Enterprise, engaged in the business of Power Transmission throughout the state of West Bengal with employee strength of around 3,000 and annual turnover in the region of Rs 1000 crores invites applications from Indian nationals to fill up the abobe vacant post immediately. Pay Band: Rs 37,400/- to Rs 67,000/- with Grade Pay of Rs 8,700/- (Approx Gross Salary: Rs 86,000/- p.m.) Minimum Experience : Post qualification experience of 19 years or more in Management position in Finance and Accounts Department in a large organization preferably Power Generation / Transmission / Distribution organization in professional environment, out of which at least 3 years experience in senior position (at least in the 3rd line of cadre hierarchy) with experience in Budgeting. Final Accounts, Auditing & Cash Management. He must have sufficient knowledge and experience in handling all facets of Finance and Accounts Function independently. Knowledge of ERP accounts transition or working in ERP / SAP environment will be an added advantage. |

West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company Limited (WBSETCL), a Govemmenl of West Bengal Enterprise, is engaged in the business of transmission of electricity and is also designated STU for the State of West Bengal having annual turnover of more than Rs1,100 crores. WBSETCL is at presenl having transmission assets of 8486 RKM / 11938 CKM of 400/220/132/66 KV transmission line and 112 nos. of EHV Sub-Stations with total installed capacity of 23215 MVA. The Company invites applications from expenenced professionals with impeccable performance records, outstanding professional competency and demonstrable leadership for the post of Director (Projects).
Role : The role demand up lo dale and in depth knowledge of Power Sector including intricacy of Electricity Act. 2003. The candidate should have adequate experience in long term transmission planning and project management from the conception stage to commissioning stage involving estimation, preparation of bid documents, tendering, tender processing, contracting and execution of major EHT transmission line and substation projects. The incumbent is to report to the Managing Director.
Qualification : Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Experience : The candidate should have at least 20 years or relevant experience to match the role mentioned above with at least 2 years at the level of two positions below the Director of Board of Directors such as Executive Director/General Manager/Chief Engineer or equivalent in Central/Slate Government/CPSU/PSU or similar reputed Private Sector.
Age : Maximum 59 years as on 01.01.2015
Tenure of Appointment: The position is on contract basis for an initial duration of 3 years with the condition of review of contract al the end of each year linked to the performance. The contract can be extended for a further period of 3 years at a time subject to the maximum age limit of 62 years.
Compensation : The post carries the pay in the Pay Band of Rs 37,400/- to Rs 67,000/- with Grade Pay of Rs 10,000/- plus Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Electricity Allowance & Medical Allowance. LTC and free Hospitalization benefits at reputed hospitals, chauffeur driven car at the Company’s cost for official work. There are also certain provisions of personal use of the car at the concessional rates. In case of specially deserving candidates both in the Government/PSU/Phvate Sector the terms & conditions are negotiable and pay protection with a suitable encashment may be considered
while fixing the pay in the Pay Scale.
