Vidya Prasarak Mandal (VPM), Thane, is a 78-year old Educational Trust, which runs schools and colleges in the city of Thane and has established a state-of-the-art engineering college at Velneshwar in Konkan region, where following Bachelor of Engineering Courses are offered viz. Computer, Electrical, Electronics & Telecommunication, Instrumentation, Mechanical and Civil Engineering. The college is affiliated to University of Mumbai.
