DATA SCIENTISTS– Mumbai & Hyderabad
The primary role of this position is to design and execute scientific modeling while working with large data sets and designing algorithms to work effectively with them. Such algorithms typically include association, segmentation, decision tree, neural network, regression, time series and outlier analysis.
Qualifications:
- Masters in Operations Research, Statistics, Mathematics or related discipline. Addilional advanced degrees in business or marketing a plus.
- Data mining, statistical, optimization or other relevant modeling experience.
- Expertise in at least one statistical software package, preferably R.
- Able to communicate findings clearly to both technical & nontechnical audiences across colleagues, clients & prospects.
- Industry experience in distribution, retail, manufacturing or services industries.
- Experience in developing enterprise software which employs statistical methods and algorithms a plus.
