We are looking for an outstanding educationist and administrator for the Academy as
PRINCIPAL
The Sobha Academy is a state-of-the-art public school of international standards exclusively for children from BPL families with a mandate for building academically competent, personally confident and socially committed individuals from highly disadvantaged social segments by empowering them to make a permanent break from the vicious circle of poverty, ignorance, deprivation and exclusion through best quality schooling experience. The Academy provides completely free education and other facilities to its students.

The Sobha Academy Primary and Secondary (KG to Class 10) campus is situated at Vadakkenchery, between Thrissur and Palakkad on NH 47, approx. 32 km from either of the towns. The Sobha Senior Secondary School (Class 11 and 12) is being established in an adjacent location. The Academy follows CBSE syllabus.

We are looking for an outstanding professional in the age group of 40-50 years having a good track record of demonstrated leadership in the academic sector.

The incumbent shall be a highly accomplished educationist of eminence and should have been in a similar position in a reputed educational institution preferably following CBSE syllabus, with educational and administrative responsibilities. The ability to work closely with all members of the school staff and to communicate effectively with parents to achieve academic excellence is an essential requirement.

Some of the key deliverables include:

• Establishing and promoting high standards of academic performance for all students and staff
• Setting, managing and achieving effective and clear goals for the operation and functioning of the school consistent with its philosophy, mission and values
• Ensuring compliance with all policies, laws and regulations
• Development and implementation of innovative teaching methods
• Serve as a role model for students, demonstrating the importance and relevance of learning, accepting responsibility, demonstrating pride in the education profession and encouraging all teachers to do the same

  We are looking for an outstanding professional with a strong flair and commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

  The ideal candidate shall have a Master’s Degree in any discipline with B. Ed./M. Ed. with a work exposure to progressive education and management practices of 15-20 years in a reputed school of which at least 5 years should be in a position of school leadership as Principal/ Vice Principal.
