A 1000 Crore tier one auto ancillary supplier of machined aluminium castings to major domestic and international OEMs is looking for dynamic engineering professionals for the following positions:
Program Manager – Production Engineering
Graduate or PG in Mechanical engg with 8-12 yrs experience, preferably in Aluminium die casting industry
Must possess working knowledge in process planning for casting/machining for Aluminium die cast auto components, project planning management & control of New Product Development (NPD) programs. Capable of interacting with international customers on project planning, process design & quality assurance requirements and familiar with OA systems pertaining to TS16949 & international automobile OEMs.
Will be responsible for execution of new product development projects achieving quality, cost & time targets through APQP process, process planning & implementation of manufacturing process, resource estimation & management of new products, capital equipment proposal & selection, effective integration of problem solving within NPD process
Section Head – GD C/ PDC Die Design
Graduate or PG in Mechanical Engg with 8-12 yrs experience in Aluminium die casting industry
Additional qualification in tool design will be an added advantage
Must possess working knowledge in designing dies for new products in Aluminium GDC / PDC, Pro-E / CATIA softwares, FMEA/ PFMEA, DOE, Magma simulation, and QAsystems in NPD process
Will be responsible for design,development,productionising new GDC / PDC parts on time, conducting design reviews, finalizing product design & technical specifications with customer for achieving target productivity, quality, cost and delivery, die trimming tool design and proving for NPD, design change implementation for products & dies, design yield improvement, capacity expansion for current parts.
Process Planning Engineers: Machining
Diploma / Graduate in Mech with 6 -10 yrs experience
Will be leading a team of 4-6 engrs for process planning and proving of machining process for NPD. Should possess knowledge in selection of machine & cutting tools & gauges, design of jigs & fixtures, conducting work study, cycle time reduction, packaging and containerization, CNC programming and statistical process control
Die Designers: PDC / GDC
Diploma with Post Diploma in Tool Design with 6 to 8 yrs experience.
Will be part of the design team for designing the die for NPD parts. Should be conversant with design softwares Pro-E / CATIA and conducting analysis using Magma simulation. Knowledge in FMEA/PFMEAis preferred.
