The South Indian Education Society is a tax exempt charitable society in Mumbai. Wholely devoted to the cause of education, nourishing young minds from KG to Ph.D, the Society encompasses about 20,000 students at various campuses. The sweep of its academic influence covers a wide range of disciplines. We have embraced all levels of formal education – primary, secondary, undergraduate and post graduate levels and in Management, Communications and Packaging with all groups of youth, with no discrimination based on ethnic language or social status. Today, SIES has built a remarkable reputation for academic excellence setting high standards of discipline.

Today the industry of Product Packaging encompasses every conceivable produce, materials and science. The per capita consumption of packages is growing to greater highs in the immediate term. With the changing consumer perception and FDI in retail now being a reality, the Packaging industry is poised for unprecedented multiplier effect growth. The SIES School of Packaging foresighted this and was established a decade ago, within a main thrust area of Research and Development in Packaging, Packaging Education, Quality Evaluation and Packaging Enhancement, Promotion and Data Centre.

The Technology Centre has a well-equipped laboratory for testing and R&D and is approved by the Department of Science and Industrial Research as a Scientific Research Organization.

Our Society is looking for a Director to steer the SIES School of Packaging. We require you to have appropriate academic qualifications in Technology and Managerial experience of minimum ten years in MNCs / large Indian corporates. Moving away from a 24 x 7 target chasing environment in the industry, the position offers adequate opportunity for intellectual thinking, academia industry interface and creating a well-established outsourcing support in packaging development for Industry. The preferred age group is 40 – 50 years. The Society offers a generous pay package commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the incumbent. Lease accommodation can be provided if required at Navi Mumbai.
