Area Head – Cochin/Kozhikode (Kerala) (2 positions)
The incumbent will have complete top line and bottom line deliverables for the respective location. The job involves end to end responsibility for developing the area as a profit centre, including land procurement, liaison for obtaining permissions / sanctions, project execution/delivery, marketing, sales, customer relations, financial management etc. The entire team based at the respective location will report to the Area Head.

The ideal candidate shall be a Civil Engineer with an MBA, aged between 35-45 years and is already working as Business Head / Profit Centre Head with P&L responsibility in a large / medium sized company for the last 4-5 years. He should be a highly motivated self starter with a proven ability to execute and deliver, having good commercial and business knowledge. Candidates from real estate / construction industry will have a distinct advantage. Those with international experience will be preferred. Working knowledge of the local Language (Malayalam) is essential.

Project Managers
You should be a first class civil engineering graduate below 32 years of age with 5-10 years experience in building construction. You will be in charge of individual projects and responsible for project completion within specified parameters of quality, cost, time and safety. You must be familiar with advanced construction techniques, high-quality finishes, training skills and overall management of large sites. You must also be conversant with project management and tracking tools such as MS Projects and Prima Vera. Candidates with post graduate degree/diploma in Construction Management will be preferred.

We are looking for dynamic Managers to head our project execution teams to provide overall management direction for construction projects for their successful completion in compliance with Sobha’s policies, procedures and quality standards. Good leadership and team building skills, along with a passion for quality and an eye for minute detailing are prerequisites for this position.
