Transaction Processing
§ Conducts research on past customer data, using information already present in the system or by contacting internal & external stakeholders.
§ Collects information on invoice details for the allocated customer(s)
§ Takes action to resolve issues resulting from errors caused internally or due to customer dissatisfaction, that affect payment.
§ Takes necessary action in cases of payment failure beyond stipulated time period.

Customer Interaction
§ Interacts with the customer, based on information collected, to ensure payment

Exception Handling
§ Handles exceptions relating to process within one’s scope
§ Escalates to Sr. Analyst / Team Lead as required if necessary

Transaction Audit
§ Conducts peer audit

Report Generation
§ Generates necessary regular and ad-hoc reports

Contribution to projects
Participates in projects including quality projects, data migration projects on account of acquisitions and organisational initiatives as required

Job Responsibilities:
§ Administer, Maintain & Support critical Business/ Support Services Applications.
§ Work during APAC hours (e.g., 6 am to 2:30 pm IST) or EMEA hours (e.g., 2 pm to 10:30 pm IST) on a rotational basis and as part of a global, 24/7 organization.
§ Dashboard monitoring of applications & systems. ‘Subject Matter Expert’ support to ‘Eyes on the Dashboard’ engineers.
§ On-Call/P1 duty on a rotational basis and execution of maintenance work on weekends, holidays or as needed.
§ Planning, preparation & execution of production activities, e.g. deployment of Severity 1 patches, bouncing of applications/systems, new releases & upgrades, etc.
§ Isolate and troubleshoot issues related to application outage, system performance, peak loads, or any other incident.
§ Lead and/or support projects related to automation, standardization, improvement initiatives, decommission of old applications/systems, build of new environments, cleanups, migration, refreshes, upgrades, etc.
§ Performance tuning of WebLogic Server & WebLogic Server applications.
§ Management of web & application servers, and configuration/deployment of applications on Oracle WebLogic Server. Installation/ Upgrade of WebLogic Server.

§ Participate in application cutover exercises in Production, Stage & other environments.
§ Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures, Knowledge Base for troubleshooting incidents & resolving problems, and Root Cause Analysis documents.
§ Raise and/or Escalate ‘bugs’ to Development/Engineering teams. Follow up on their resolution.
§ Work with other PDIT teams (e.g. Enterprise Infrastructure Services, Identity & Security Management Services, Network Services, Performance Services, etc.) to troubleshoot incidents & problems, coordinate maintenance work, deliver projects, etc.
§ Support the requirements of Development & other teams on a need basis.

Note: Work is non-routine and complex, involving the application of advanced technical skills, particularly in the area of WebLogic Server Administration.

Mandatory Skills & Experience:
§ B.E. / B.Tech. / M.C.A. / M.Sc. Computer Science
§ Relevant technical experience of 4 to 14 years.
§ Oracle WebLogic Server Administration (Advanced Level). Apart from the day-to-day WLS administration work, the candidate should also have solid, hands-on experience in Performance & JVM tuning, Troubleshooting server hang/crash incidents, and Usage of important WebLogic Tools (e.g. Scripting Tool, Diagnostics Framework, SNMP Agent, etc.)
§ Oracle Application Server Administration.
§ Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager.
§ Experience with Big IP or other Load Balancers.

§ Strong Scripting Skills – Shell/ Perl/ Python.
§ Familiarity with Oracle Identity Management.
§ SOA Suite Administration, primarily BPEL & WSM.
§ Excellent Technical Troubleshooting experience.
§ Excellent Communication & Documentation skills.
§ Experience in working as part of Global/ Matrixed/ Virtual teams. Strong interpersonal skills.
§ Self driven & motivated. Ability to work under minimal supervision.
§ Excellent Analytical skills.

Desirable/Optional Skills:
§ Familiarity with Autoconfig & its usage.
