FACTORY MANAGER
Chemical Engineer or chemistry Graduate with min 20+ years experience in field of Chemical Manufacturing managing cross functional team of -50 employees consisting of Production, Maintenance, IR, Admin, Stores and Logistics.

GM QA & QC
M.Sc./Ph.D in chemistry or B.tech/M.tech in Chemical Eng. with 15 + years of experience in QC&QA. Ability to develop methods for analytical instruments like GC, HPLC, UV is necessary along with ability to manage a growing team of about 10+ people. Should be familiar with Pharma Intermediate GMP requirement and able to face customer/ISO audit independently.

Manager Vacancies at Neogen Chem Thane

We are a speciality Chemical manufacturing company currently having factory at Mahape, Navi Mumbai & Head Offfice at Thane serving global Pharma, Agrochemicals, Electronic and Engineering industry since 1991 started by promoters with IIT background and growing with around 20% per annum, having 50% export to Europe, Japan and USA. We are setting up new production sites at Dahej SEZ (or export market & at Saykha, GIDC Dahej Gujrat state for domestic market & looking for following senior appointments of General Managers to lead team of Managers at Dahej & at Head Office Thane.

1. General Manager – Project
He should be Chemical Engineer having experience of setting up independently green field speciality chemical project of the capital investment of Rs 50 Cr. to 250 Cr with overall at least 20 years of experience of project planning, Government formalities & Registrations obtaining clearance from state & Central Government pollution boards, Equipment selection, procurement, erection & commissioning of the project. He will be overall responsible for setting up both the new sites at Dahej SEZ and Saykha GIDC, Dahej Greenfield projects of total investment of around Rs.100Cr.
2. General Manager – HR
Candidate should be M.B.A. from reputed institute in HR with minimum 10 years experience. You will be to posted at Head Office, Thane. Candidate should have proven ability to create total new team required for a greenfield speciality chemical projects at Dahej & for some new additional members at Head office at Thane. In addition he/she will be expected to manage training & create system of performance appraisals of existing employees.
3. General Manager – Marketing
He should preferably be Chemical Engineer / Ph.D with chemistry to be posted at Head Office, Thane & should be able to lead team of Managers to take the current business from Rs.100 Cr to Rs.500 Cr within span of two years. Candidate should have in-depth market knowledge to identify new business opportunity & new customers & good knowledge of Chemistry related to Pharma / Agriculture / Electronic industry. He should be able to develop new markets & contract manufacturing business in domestic & export market in Japan / Europe / USA to achieve the targets.
4. General Manager – Finance
CA or MBA Finance with minimum 20 years of experience in managing Finanace / Accounts / Statutary function for a manufacturing unit (having experience in bulk drug / chemical manufacturing agency preferred) for Head Office at Thane. Should be capable of finalization of accounts. CMA preparations and arranging working capital & project finance with banker / financial Institute and costing systems independently. Should have knowledge of Income Tax, TDS, Vat, Excise, Tally, Forex Transactions, Forex Forward Cover, Accounting & Financing of Import / Export Transactions. Exposure to ERP preferred. The experience of launching of fresh equity issue will be preferred.
5. Marketing Manager
Candidate required at Head Office, Thane & should be Chemicals Engineering / B.Sc / M.Sc Chemistry with minimum 15 years experience in Marketing in Speciality Chemicals or Pharmaceutical or Agrochemical Industry with good communication & analytical skills. Exposure to international marketing & managing custom manufacturing projects will be preferred.
6. Purchase Manager
Candidate required at Head Office Thane & should be Chemical Engineer / B.Sc / M.Sc in Chemistry with minimum 20 years experience in Purchase in speciality chemicals or pharmaceutical or agrochemical industry. Exposure to international sourcing & logistis & planning will be preferred.
