The Institute of Infrastructure, Technology, Research and Management (IITRAM) is established by Govt. of Gujarat as an autonomous University offering courses with specialization in infrastructure and its management. It aims to create a Centre of excellence in Science, Technology and Management with emphasis on research at UG and PG levels. The Institute is starting a B.Tech. program in Civil & Electrical Engineering from 2013-14. More disciplines and PG programme will be introduced later. The distinguished faculty will spend a substantial part of their time on research.

Qualifications
PROFESSOR:
Ph. D with l0 years teaching/research/industrial experience of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor or equivalent at Institutes such as IITs, IISc Bengaluru, ISERs, NITIE Mumbai at an equivalent level in any such other Indian or foreign institutions/ institutions of comparable standards as may be decided by the Institute.
ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR:
Ph. D with 6 years teaching/research/industrial experience of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent in a reputed organization.
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR:
3 years teaching/research/ industrial experience post-PhD
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (CONTRACT) :
For a fresh Ph.D., the position will be on contract basis for first three years, after the completion of which it can be regularized. In addition to satisfying the minimum qualification the candidates should have an excellent academic record, good communication skills, a commitment to high quality undergraduate and post-graduate education and the inclination towards creative research. Mere eligibility will not entitle any candidate for being called for interview. Though the advertisement does not specify any particular specialization, the Institute, depending on its teaching requirement may give preference to such sub-areas within a discipline as may be determined by the Institute. Candidates called for interview will be reimbursed to and fro travel expenses from place of residence in India and back as per the Institute norms. For overseas candidates, interview may be conducted on Skype or other electronic mode.
Emoluments : Salary will not be the constraint for the right candidates and will be at par with the best.

The Institute of Infrastructure Technology, Research and Management (IITRAM) is established by Govt, of Gujarat in Ahmedabad as a University for imparting knowledge and offer courses with specialization in Infrastructure and Management of Infrastructure in particular and to create centres of excellence in the areas of science, technology and management by State Act 5/2013 is seeking applications and/or nominations for the position of Director General. Under the overall direction of the Board of Governors, the Director General would be the key person providing strategic direction to the University, ensuring academic excellence at the University.-

RESPONSIBILITIES
Director General shall be responsible for providing Academic and Strategic Leadership, Policy and Planning, Financial Management and Liaison and to make this Institute as one of the best in the country in the area of Infrastructure and Management of Infrastructure.
THE PERSON
The person should have a proven record of leadership and managemeht outcomes in an education environment; a strong operational mentality to ensure successful delivery of goals and plans; a high level of financial and managerial competence; excellent leadership skills; ability and willingness to work closely with diverse group of University stakeholders and the ability to create good environment for research.
Salary will not be a constraint for the right candidate.
