We are looking for the following profiles:
Embedded Software
Layer 3 Routing/Signaling – Development (Job Code: SW-RS-IN)
2-10 years of experience in design/development of router software. Exposure to Traffic engineering, path computation, service protection and restoration, high availability and GMPLS suite of protocols is desired. Strong programming skills in C++ and in-depth understanding of OS internals, data structures and Object Oriented (00) design is must.
Platform Control Plane – Development (Job Code: SW CP IN)
4-10 years of software development experience in RTOS using C/C++ in a scalable router/telecom product. Proficiency in L2 switching, Broadcom chipset drivers, inter card communication and interfacing with FPGA/ASICs is must
Embedded Applications – Development (Job Code: SW EA IN)
3 – 6 years of design, development in RTOS using C++ in telecom/optical field with good analytical and debugging skills. Must be familiar with object oriented programming principles and sound OS knowledge. Experience with FCAPS, OTN/SONET / SDH /DWDM / Routers, TCP/IP, TL-1, SNMP is a plus.
Embedded Device driver– Development (Job Code: SW-DVDR-IN)
4 – 7 years of design, development in RTOS using C+ + in telecom/Datacom field with excellent analytical and debugging skills. Must have understanding of platform boot-up and device drivers,, hardware-software interactions and dependencies, high availability software systems with prior experience in board bring-up.
Network Management
Network Management – Development (Job Code: SW-NMDEV-IN)
3+ years of experience in design/development of EMS/NMS/OSS Systems. Strong programming skills in Java and in-depth understanding of data structures, Object Oriented (OO) design and Performance/scalability issues are a must.
Network Planning System
Network Planning System development (Job code: SW NPS-IN)
3+ years of development experience on Core Java, XML, Swings and other Ul components like JIDE, iLog. BE/BTech. Degree is a must. Experience in building telecom network management software desired. Knowledge of routing algorithms and graph theory is a plus.
NSG Manager (Job Code: NSG-MNG-IN)
10+ years of relevant industry experience, 7+ years of experience with 3rd party network design or optimization tools highly desirable. Working knowledge of carrier-class networking architecture and systems (DWDM, SONET/SDH, IP/MPLS/GMPLS/Ethernet).The NSG (Network Systems and Analysis Group) Manager leads a team of subject matter experts responsible for Network Design Solutions and Optimization Methods for network planning, implementation and deployment activities.
Systems Engineering
Systems Engineering (Job Code: NE-SSE-IN) 8+ years of experience with telecommunication product development, either embedded system software (preferred) or hardware. The key responsibilities include working closely with Marketing, Architecture and Engineering team to define and provide detailed technical specifications for system requirements such as system behaviors, information model, protocols, fault and performance management for next generation product and participating in standards. Technical experience in designing/architecting with carrier transport systems and applications in one or more technologies in DWDM, OTN, MPLS, Ethernet, SONET/SDH, GMPLS is a must
Hardware
Hardware Mechanical Design Engineer (Job Code: HW-MECH IN)
8+ years experience in complex mechanical and thermal design for networking system. Fxperience in new NEBS/ETSI compliant product design & sustaining. Design of fiber management, plastic, sheet metal, card cages & electro mech assemblies. Experience of thermal design & testing, tolerance analyses, shock and vibration testing. Experience of Pro/E Wildfire, FloTherm and Windchill mandatory.
Diagnostics Engineer (Job Code: HW-DIAG-IN)
6+ years industry experience in design & develop of diagnostic tests for board bring-up, functional and manufacturing test for networking system. Experience with developing diagnostic SW framework for networking systems, using C /C++, device drivers, firmware & diagnostics test suites. Experience with Power PC & peripherals, telecom buses, boot code & debug tools. L2/L3 Knowledge & experience on BCM SDKs desired.
ASIC
Design (Job Code: ASIC-D-IN)
10+ years of experience in ASIC/FPGA based design development. Should have strong exposure to networking protocols/standards such as OTN/G.709, & Gigabit Ethernet. Strong expertise in contemporary ASIC frontend design flow (synthesis, formal verification, timing analysis, DFT methodologies, power analysis).Participation in multi-million gate deep sub-micron ASICs (40nm/28nm or below) is preferred.
Verification (Job Code: ASIC-V-IN)
10+ years of experience in ASIC verification using HVL based methodology, preferably with System Verilog UVM; Participation in multi-million gate ASIC verification in telecom / networking area. Should have the ability to mentor and guide the verification team on the latest flow and methodology. Knowledge of networking protocols/standards such as OTN/G.709 & Gigabit Ethernet. Working experience in planning and developing verification strategy and infrastructure from ground up is a must.
Test
Network Element (Job Code:Test-NE-IN)
4+ years experience in planning and executing detailed white-box and black-box system tests on telecom systems. Demonstrated proficiency in testing complex DWDM/SONET/OTN based Optical systems with thorough understanding of ITU & Telcordia standards. Automation experience is a plus.
Network Management (Job Code:Test-NM-IN)
4+ years experience in planning and executing detailed white-box and black-box system tests on Network Management and Network Planning tools of DWDM/SONET/OTN based Optical telecom systems. Experience in SNMP,TMF 814, CORBA, and Automation is a plus.
Test Automation Engineer (Job code: AUTO-SWT IN)
4+ years of testing and automation experience on optical/telecom product. BE/BTech degree is required. Work experience in SONET, SDH, OTU, Ethernet or related protocols is essential. Knowledge of Perl, Tcl/Tk or any other scripting language is a must.
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in CS or EE with good academics. Experience in Telecom/SONET/SDH is a plus.
