ECONOMISTS & RETIRED BANKERS

Indian Overseas Bank, a leading Public Sector Bank with headquarters in Chennai having geographical presence all over India and abroad, invites applications from eligible candidates, for Recruitment to the post of Economist, Chief Economist, Chartered Accountant & Chief Customer Service Officer on contract basis.

1. ECONOMIST
   Vacancies: 01
   Age: Not exceeding 40 years
   Qualification: Minimum PG in Economics. PhD Preferred.
   Work Experience: Minimum 3 years work experience as an Economist in a Commercial Bank (other than IOB) / FIs or other reputed Corporate Organization or Teaching experience as Lecturer / Professor in Economics in a College / University or combined experience as an Economist and In teaching.
2. CHIEF ECONOMIST
   Vacancies: 01
   Age: Minimum 45 & Not exceeding 62 years
   Qualification: Minimum PG in Economics. Ph.D Preferred.
   Work Experience: Minimum 10 years work experience as an Economist in a Commercial Bank (other than IOB) / FIs or other reputed Corporate Organization or Teaching experience as Lecturer / Professor in Economics in a College / University or combined experience as an Economist and In teaching.
3. CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT
   Vacancies: 01
   Age: Below 62 years
   Qualification: Passed final CA. Candidates with ACS and /or ICWA Preferred.
   Work Experience: Serving or Retired executives not below the rank of AGM with minimum 10-12 years recent hands on experience of handling regulatory issues in a Public Sector Bank.
4. CHIEF CUSTOMER SERVICE OFFICER
   Vacancies. 01
   Age: Not below 60 years
   Qualification: Retired GM from a PSB other than IOB.
   Work Experience: Should have retired as GM from any Scheduled Commercial Bank (other than IOB) with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the operational front.

Selection Process: Interview
Job Location: Chennai
Contract will be for a period of three years, to be reviewed on yearly basis. The contract may be terminated by either party giving one month’s notice or pay in lieu thereof.
