Applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up the post of CONTROLLER OF EXAMINATIONS in the Pay Band of Rs 37400 – 67000 with Grade Pay Rs10,000/- (or as per the rules prescribed by the UGC / Government of India), on deputation / tenure basis. Candidates serving Central / Slate Government, Public Sector Undertakings, Autonomous Bodies and Institutions under Central / State Governments may apply.

(a) Educational Qualification:
(i) Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC prescribed seven point scales.
(ii) 5% relaxation in qualifying marks at master’s level (i.e.) from 55% to 50% of marks, shall be given to SC/ST/PH candidates and those who are already in the University system (UGC order dt. 24.12.98)
Experience:
(b) (i) holding analogous post on regular basis (or)
(ii) With 3-years regular service in the post in the pay scale of Rs15600-39100; GP :7600 (or) equivalent (or)
(iii) With 8-years regular service in the post in the pay scale of
Rs15600 39100; GP :6600 (or) equivalent

(c) Possessing 12-years administrative experience in Group ‘A’ post
(d) Desirable : Experience in University Academic system and Examination procedures
(e) Age: Not more than 50-years (relaxable by the Vice-chancellor in deserving cases)
(f) Tenure: For a period of 5-years
(g) Retirement Age: 62-years
