VICE CHANCELLOR
The Vice Chancellor leads the Academic & Administrative responsibilities of the University.
Thus, such a designation demands a strong research background, administrative and leadership acumen, and a constant striving towards quality education matching global standards. However, apart from being a distinguished academician, the person is also expected to be an example of integrity, competence and institutional commitments.
The candidate should possess credible qualifications and a Ph.D degree, preferably with a first class at Bachelors and Master’s Level in Engineering and / or Management. An experience of about 25 years in Teaching / Research/Industry is a pre-requisite, out of which 10 years must be at the level of Professor or above in a reputed educational institute, industry/research organization. Preference will be given to candidates possessing experience of academic administration at a senior level in a large organization.
Remuneration & Benefits: The remuneration and perks for this position would gross in the range of Rs. 40 lac to Rs. 50 lac per annum. Salary shall not be a constraint for an exceptional candidate.
