Job description :
This role concentrates on the design of infrastructures including the development of operational architectures and processes for the deployment , integration, and management of Mobile Application Platform and Mobile device management. Included in the focus areas is the critical evaluation and selection of the software and hardware components of the infrastructure. Best practices in this role use various techniques including modeling, simulation, and testing to validate the designs and selected products. Infrastructure Architects are responsible for performance, availability and scalability of the infrastructure.

Candidates for this role therefore need to be able to create technical delivery artifacts such as operational models, service flows, service designs, and other TeamSD and GSAR artifacts. Candidates also need prior experience leading teams to successfully deploy, implement and operate IT architectures.

This role will also produce technical artifacts for new Mobility offering projects and will interact with customers and customer account teams. As such, a subset of time will involve work on customer deals, supporting proposals or assisting aspects of delivery.

In addition to core IT architectural skills, candidates must be able to show technical leadership capabilities. Candidates will regularly be interacting with the several senior technical leaders of IBM such as Distinguished Engineers therefore strong communication and collaboration skills are also needed.

Ability to investigate and study IBM and other technologies and solutions to come up with sound architectural solutions and decisions
Ability to write comprehensive technical and architectural specifications on customer Mobility solutions as well as Offering features
Experience with IBM SWG products -WAS, DB2, TEM , Rational Development tools
Lead solution design and architecture for atleast 3 years
Lead Implementation of Designed IT Systems – 1 year experience

Knowledge on Mobile technologies – MDM, Mobile messaging, Mobile App development is a plus

  • Knowledge and experience of IBM Platforms including the Tivoli product suite
  • Experience in delivering enterprise-grade infrastructure systems including but not limited to servers, virtualization and storage technologies.
  • Excellent hands on experience and execution skills in the context of complex client engagements or architecture work
  • Expertise on standard Methods & Tools involved in Architecture & Solution Design
  • 15+ years of experience in delivering enterprise grade systems and solutions across various roles
  • 3+ years of technical leadership providing direction to a cross-functional team of technical resources on very complex solutions or service offering architecture activities
  • Exposure to reference architecture design, solution implementation and adoption models (preferred)
  • Strong intellectual capital record i.e. papers published, books written, seminars conducted (preferred)

Establish/engage in RTR, PTP & OTC components of benchmarks, transformation roadmaps, process innovation, best practices, tools deployment, process mapping, maturity and industry specific models. Strong consultative selling, client engagement, interpersonal and analytical skills.

Deputy Group Manager & Group Manager, Operations Delivery (RTR, PTP & OTC) (10-18 years of experience)
Experience in managing F&A Operations across industries in a third party environment. Exposure in handling complex and new transitions. Ability to work with virtual teams in a matrix organization. High focus on Execution, SLA’s, Technology and Business Outcomes. Proven track record to lead large teams effectively Actively participate in the change management agenda for the F&A outsourcing programs.
