This is a worldwide role responsible for the development and execution of the go to market plan with the designated India Based global SI partner(s). This person will draft a strategy and execute a plan focused on exceeding goals around executive alignment, share of wallet, solution development and revenue attainment.

Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for advocating HP Converged Cloud solutions to the Global SI partner(s). The focus of this position is to increase HP’s Converged Cloud share of wallet and to focus on new complex solutions and business opportunities including migration from competitive platforms. The successful candidate must be able to establish a professional relationship at CXO levels, including understanding and articulating the unique business needs of each customer.

  • Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert in the area of Converged Cloud.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • He/she will be an extended arm of the Global Alliance Leader managing the SI partner
  • Proactively manages portfolio of Converged Cloud solutions for an assigned partner driving profitable business growth and development of the partnership..
  • Strengthens the HP/partner strategic partnership developing opportunities for sell to, with and through
  • Recognized authority in relevant solution or industry knowledge. Understands multiple HP BU and competitive solution offerings as applied to assigned customers or specific industries.
  • Employs a consultative selling approach to develop compelling business cases to differentiate and highlight the value of HP Converged Cloud solutions. Architects an appropriate technical solution to meet the partner’s business requirements
  • Works with HP Software and hardware product teams and external partner technical contacts to define and build solution/service content
  • Define required delivery skills and create appropriate training materials to ensure pursuit and delivery readiness of the partners resources
  • Works with the partner to define & maintain the partner’s overall transformation roadmap for Cloud. Closely involved in establishing and maintaining effective program governance
  • Responsible for verifying and implementing the detailed technical design solution to meet the customer challenges on Cloud build, operate and consume. Often responsible for providing a detailed technical design for enterprise solutions

    Knowledge and Skills Required

  • Is considered a master in knowledge of HP products and solutions offerings in Converged Cloud, spanning ESSN and HP Software.
  • Uses expertise in specialty, consultative solution selling and business development skills to align the client’s business needs with solution.
  • Demonstrates leadership and initiative in successfully driving full portfolio including hardware, software and services needed for meeting the partners’ business requirements
  • Strategic planning on a business development level; can build an effective business case reflecting the value of an appropriate strategy.
  • Uses C-level engagement skills in collaboration with account leads to offer value-add solutions to the client
  • Experience in building reference architecture for Converged cloud to align with the business use cases for certain industry verticals
  • Consistently and clearly message the Partner Value Proposition and Strategic Direction of the Alliance both internally and externally
  • Excellent relationship building/relationship management skills
  • Industry Vertical domain knowledge, an added advantage

    Qualifications and Experience

    Minimum of 12 years’ experience in a customer or partner facing role in the IT industry
    Experience in designing cloud solutions for build, operate and consume based on HP technologies. Hands-on experience of implementing HP software and hardware solutions, an added advantage
    Experience in Data Center Transformation and Application Ready Infrastructure Domains
    Strong understanding of IT Infrastructure, server platforms, data center and cloud marketplace including competitors, offerings, and trends;
    Minimum 3 years’ experience in Solution development and implementing go to market solutions
    Bachelor’s degree in business or related area. Post Graduate Degree in advanced technology field preferred

    Additionally, Minimum 3 years’ experience in Solution development and implementing go to market solutions
