The Development Center India at Pune is the largest global R&D center outside Germany for G&D. The center is responsible for developing products worth -400 million euros & is currently projected to grow by -40% in 2013. It provides end to end solutions for contact, contactless, dual interface smartcards (Credit / Debit), Mobile SIM, mobile payments and automotive smart card solutions.

Job Description

Basic Qualification – B.E/B.Tech in Elec & Telecom, Computers or equivalent degree
Embedded skills – C, Assembly, C++, Embedded systems
Java / Web skills – JEE, Spring. Hibernate, JPA, Vaadin, RCP, EMF, JUnit, JAXB, XML/XSLT, Oracle
Tools – Enterprise Architect, DOORS, Version Control, Defect management

Principle Engineer-Architecture & Requirements (Code: SE-01)

• 13-17 years of experience in embedded/telecom with 2 years in S/W designing, architecture

Principle Engineer – Architecture & Requirements (Code: SE-02)

• 13-17 years of experience in Java/JEE/Web technologies with 2 years in S/W designing, architecture

Lead Engineer / Sr. Engineer – Development (Code: DEV -01)

• 5-11 years of development experience in embedded technologies with hands-on of cross compilers, In-Circuit emulators, simulators, JTAG debuggers

Lead / Sr. Engineer / Engineer – Java/J2EE Developer (Code: DS-01)

• 2-11 years of development experience in Java/J2EE, experience in Agile/Scrum preferred

Lead Engineer / Sr. Engineer – Developer in Test (Code: TST-01)

• 5-11 years experience in developing Tests & Tools in C, C++, Perform Test Automation, Execution, Log & Defect Analysis, Requirements & Code coverage Analysis.

Sr. Engineer / Engineer – Developer in Test (Code: TST-02)

• 3-8 years experience in automating tests using C++ and/or JUnit, Test Driven Development or 2-5 years in SilkTest for Test automation development in Agile, Scrum

Skills : Exp. On Mechatronics projects (especially Motor control), real-time control software. Embedded Computing, Availability & Fault Tolerance, Messaging, parallelism/Multithreading/Multitasking, State Machines, Performance.
Operating System: Working Knowledge of any real-time operating system (at least 2-3 years of hands on experience)
Programming skills: C/C++, Hands on experience on peripherals (e.g. SPI, I2C, CAN ADC etc.) on 32 bit ARM based microcontrollers
Development Tools : Knowledge of an integrated development environment for microcontroller (like KEIL uVision or similar), version control, UML Design Tools (like Enterprise Architect or similar).
