Gharda Chemicals Ltd., an innovative pioneer in the field of agrochemicals, polymers and pigments requires a Personnel Manager preferably with a background in Chemical Engineering or Organic / Physical Chemistry, to recruit, train and manage personnel for a significant expansion of its existing R&D activities. Gharda’s R&D achievements have won several national / international awards and are the cornerstone of the company’s growth from a small scale unit to its present size, with sales in excess of Rs.1200 crores worldwide.

The job will be based at Lote Parshuram (Ratnagiri). The candidate should have relevant experience in a research-based organisation, with a proven capability to maximize the productivity of research scientists working in a group. Accommodation will be provided for outstation candidates.

a research-based Agro-Chemical Global Company, requires the following exceptionally talented people for their plant located in Lote-Parshuram,Tal. Khed, District – Ratnagiri, Maharashtra.

1. Plant Manager/Asst. Plant Manager:
   Qualification: B.E. (Chem.) with 8-12 years hands-on experience in a chemical /agro-chemical company in the area of production planning, process improvement/monitoring, plant trouble shooting, EHS, manpo wer handling etc.
2. Manager/Asst. Mgr. (Mech. & Utility):
   Qualification: B.E. Mechanical Engg. with 8-12 yrs. experience in the Engg. Maintenance dept. of a chemical & petrochemical plant. For the Utility post -experience in Operations & maintenance of utilities in a chemical / petrochemical plant is essential. Experi ence in captive power plant operation will be an added advantage.
3. Materials Manager:
   Qualification: B.E./ Diploma in Mechanical / Industrial Engg. and a P.G. in Material Mgmt. with 10-15 years experience. Responsibilities include store manage ment, inventory control & system, logistics, ERR excise, packaging etc.
4. Sr. Engineer (Chemical/Mechanical):
   Qualification: B.E. Chemical / Mechanical Enginee ring with 6-8 years of experience in a chemical or petrochemical plant.
5. Shift Prodn. Officers/Jr. Prodn. Officer:
   Qualification: B.E. / Diploma (Chem.) / B.Sc. (Chem.) with 3-6 years hands-on experience in a similar indu stry in the area of shift operations, production, proc ess control on DCS & Plant trouble-shooting.
6. Mech./Elect./Instrument. Engineer:
   Qualification: B.E. Mech. / Elect. / Instru. with 3-5 years experience in a chemical or petrochemical plant. Instru. Engrs. should be conversant with PLC, DCS/SCADA, systems & field instrumentation.
7. Members/Jr. Members (Prodn./Engg.):
   Qualification: I.T.I. / nctvt in the trade of AOCP / mmcp / Fitter & Ref. & ac Mechanic / Utility / Electrician & Instrumentation with 5-15 years of experience in the chemical industry.
