Appointment on the post of Assistant Professor in Different Medical Colleges of the State
Applications are invited for appointment on Contract basis in the medical colleges (Vardman Institute of Medical Sciences, Pawapuri, Nalanda, Govt. Medical College, Bettiah, Jawahar Lai Nehru Medical College, Bhagalpur and Anugrah Narayan Magadh Medical College, Gaya) for the post of Assistant Professor on the following conditions :-
The appointment on contract is being made under the amended Senior Resident /Tutor and other Medical Education Services Appointment, Recruitment and Promotion Rules 2013.
- The following category of doctors with 3 years teaching Experience in the Subject of speciality after Post graduation are eligible for application :
A) Doctors of the State Health Service Cadre
B) Doctors working outside the cadre with requisite qualification
C) Doctors from State Health Service who are at present working as Senior Resident / Tutor in the Govt. Medical Colleges of the state
D) Ex Cadre Doctors working as Senior Resident / Tutor on Contract Basis in the Govt. Medical College of the state - The application shall be accepted Online only in the prescribed proforma. The application will not be accepted after the last date of submission On line application should be uploaded from 01.12.2013 (10.00 AM) to 10.12.13 (05.00 PM) on the website of the www.health.bih.nic.in at link ‘Panel Preparation for Senior Resident / Tutor“
- The interview for the selection in shall be held as per the following schedule:-

No. Date & Department Venue 1. 13 December, 2013 (Non Clinical, Para Clinical Deptts, Eye, ENT, Skin & VD) SIHFW Office, Sheikhpura, Patna 2. 14 December, 2013 (Rest Department) SIHFW Office, Sheikhpurt; Patna - Honorarium :- Rs. 47,000/- thousand per month for Ex cadre Doctors. 10% increment on Honorarium shall be admissible every year.
- This selection is valid for 3 yrs from the date of Contract or till posts are filled up with regular appointment whichever is earlier. This appointment cannot be a basis for claim for regular appointment. The contract period may be extended if the work is satisfactory and posts are not filled up by regular appointment.
- All applicants are required to produce hard copy of the On line application along with their certificates in original at the time of interview. Separate certificate for work experience is required.
- Maximum age limit for appointment will be 64 years on 01.07.2014.
- No TA/DA shall be admissible for the participation in the interview.
