Center for Application and Research in India (CARIn), our product development division, is a front-runner in innovative ophthalmic products, specially designed for RDE markets. Product development at CARIn includes market research, requirement generation, architecture, design, development, validation, clinical research, and product launch. Started in February 2011, CARIn today has a dedicated team of professionals who are a part of a unique, premium set-up for technological R&D in India. We are now expanding our operations in India.
The Global IT Solution Center is the key application management and consulting partner for ZEISS core business applications. Center for Application and Research in India (CARIn)
1) Technical Lead / Bangalore: 5+ years relevant experience Job Code: CAR-CNTL-001
- Strong development experience in C#, .Net (desktop applications only) and mandatory experience in NHibernate and in design & architecture
- Highly skilled in any design patterns and UML
- Excellent in relational database design, MS SQL Server & SQL programming
2) QA Lead / Bangalore: 5+ years relevant exp. (Manual testing only) Job Code: CAR-QAL-002
- Expertise in functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing is mandatory with strong experience in developing test plan and strategy
- Experience in test case design, test setup, and test execution
- Strong knowledge in test design techniques, BVA, equivalence partition, and decision tables
3) Sr. Software Engineer / Bangalore: 3+ years relevant experience Job Code: CAR-CNSE-003
- Development experience in C#, .NET (desktop applications only) and mandatory experience in WPF & in design patterns and UML
- Expertise in using software tools like unit test frameworks and static-code analyzers is highly desired
4) QA Engineer / Sr. QA Engineer: 3+ years relevant experience (Functional testing, Scripting knowledge) Job Code: CAR-QASE-004
- Experience in test case design, test setup, and test execution is a must
- Experience in test management tools, Quality Center, defect tracking tools, and real-time exposure to test life cycle management & test process
- Experience in QTP, Test Complete and scripting languages (C# is highly desired)
5) Software Project Manager: 8+ years relevant experience (Plan, Schedule, Track, Release) Job Code: CAR-SPM-005
- Proven track record in managing complex software projects, handling requirement management, and strong experience in project risk methodologies like FMEA, etc.
- Real-time expertise in using project management tools; MPP (Gantt Chart, CPM), Primavera, etc.
IT Solutions Center
1) SAP Skills (Functional / Technical): 4+ years of relevant SAP experience MM / SD / PP / FICO / PLM / PI / ABAP / BASIS
Job Code: CIT-SAP-006
- Technical SAP experience in process implementation and system setup in the respective modules
- Experience in SAP implementation projects across at least one full life-cycle, and in running SAP systems – either application management or post implementation support delivery
- Ability to create functional and technical design documents / specifications
2) Sr. Software Engineer / Bangalore: 4+ years of experience in JAVA Job Code: CIT-JSE-007
- Experience in Java Enterprise Edition (JEE / EJB / Servlets) & Java Frameworks (JSF, Seam, Hibernate, EclipseLink) & web technologies and web services (REST, SOAP, and WSDL)
- Design, development, test, and application management of Java software components
- Expertise in Adobe Flex and knowledge in development of mobile applications (Objective-C, HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3)
- Knowledge of SAP NetWeaver (JEE Application Server) and Sybase Unwired Platform
