Bharat Aluminium Company Limited (BALCO), a Member of Vedanta Resources Plc is a fully integrated Aluminium producer with an installed capacity of 245 ktpa aluminium and 810 MW of power. We are currently implementing expansion projects, which includes a 650 ktpa capacity Aluminium smelter (1st phase 3.25 ktpa) and 1200 MW Power Plant. With the completion of these projects, BALCO will have a total installed metal capacity of 1 mtpa and 2010 MW of power. Our metal business currently produces 75 ktpa rolled products & 200 ktpa wire rods & with completion of 1st phase metal expansion, the rolled products & wire rods capacity shall increase to 80 ktpa & 500 ktpa respectively. Our businesses also include a coal block with 211 million ton coal reserves and operating Bauxite mines.
We have a self-sustained township with 4000 quarters, 100 bedded hospital & DPS School caters state of art recreational, health and education facilities at Korba, Chhattisgarh.

Work exp.: 12-18 years in O&M of Foundry& Sheet Rolling Shop.
Qual.: BE in any discipline (Preference -Metallurgy/Chemical Engineering)

Job Profile – The Incumbent to head the Operations & Maintenance of Foundry & SRS and responsible for Increasing overall production/productivity & minimize COP of Rolled Products. Deliver quality as per customer specification, increase product portfolio, and ensure plant availability & utilization, Increase RP recoveries. Thorough technical knowledge in Casting, HRM & CRM with bench-marking, contract management, effective leadership, communication and interpersonal skills to motivate employees to work in teams is a pre requisite. -
Head Coal Block;

Work exp.: 18-22 years in Coal Mines Operations.
Qual.: B.E/B.Tech in Mining Engineering with First Class Coal Mines Competency Certificate.

Job Profile – The Incumbent shall be responsible to maximize power NSR at benchmark standards through prudent tie up/sale to various customers (PPA, open access, bilateral agreements), to ensure 100% recovery of power NSR and to develop robust system for power market intelligence. Candidate should have strong understanding of power market, relations with the various central and state grids, networking with various traders and thorough knowledge in formulation of power sales contracts. -

Job Profile – The incumbent will Head the general Administration functions of the company and responsible for liaisoining with Govt. Authorities (viz., District Administration, Police, Forest, SIDC/Municipal Corporation etc.) Responsible for entire security functions of the company. Should be well verse with the security administration, gate control, disciplinary proceedings/mechanism. Supervise security personnel/staff and implement world class security procedures & benchmark practices. Candidates with exposure in township & hospital administration, land & revenue matters will be preferred. -
Medical Specialist;
Code: Medical/06 (5 Positions),
Level: Sr. Medical officer.
Work exp.: Minimum 5 years in a multispecialty hospital.
Qual.: M.B.B.S, MS/MD Preferred.

Job Profile – The Incumbent shall be responsible for the treatment of emergency cases at casualty/ICU apart from the OPD cases and may be required to work in shifts. Specialist in treatment of infant/female and perform surgical procedures will be preferred. Should be conversant with the requirements of MLC. Should be able to plan and implement health programs in hospitals, communities for prevention and treatment of injuries.
