Invites application satisfying the following requirements. The successful candidate(s) will spend some time working at either UK HO or manufacturing facility in Thailand.
Must be B.E Mechanical or Structural Engineer with at least 5 years of experience working in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or Power Industry. Persons with overseas experience will be preferred. The successful candidate should possess an excellent knowledge in stress analysis techniques & be able to perform basic design calculations by hand for simple beams & structures.
He or she will have a working knowledge of FEA techniques & be familiar with one or more of the major commercial FEA packages such as ANSYS or Strand7, be able to use AutoCAD & MS office
Alternatively we will consider someone with a strong background in the design of high-pressure process piping and familiarity of ASME/ ANSI 831.1 and B31.3 design codes. Applicants should send their detailed cv’s to radhika@pipesupports.com

BERGEN PIPE SUPPORTS GROUP presently seek candidates satisfying the following requirements. The successful candidate(s) will spend some time working at either the UK head-office or Bergen’s manufacturing facility near Bangkok in Thailand.
STRUCTURAL DESIGN ENGINEER PIPE HANGERS & RESTRAINTS
Must be qualified to degree level in mechanical or structural engineering & have at least 5 yrs of experience working in the oil & gas, petrochemical or power generation industry. Ideally the candidate will have already spent time working overseas.
The successful candidate will have an excellent knowledge in stress analysis techniques and be able to perform basic design calculations by hand for simple beams and structures.
He or she will have a working knowledge of finite element analysis techniques & be familiar with one or more of the major commercial FEA packages such as ANSYS or Strand7, be able to use Auto CAD & be familiar with the Microsoft Office suite of tools.
Alternatively we will consider someone with a strong background in the design of high-pressure process piping and familiarity of ASME/ANSI B31.1 and B31.3 design codes.
