PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
SAP Global Delivery is a global organization within SAP Consulting chartered to support SAP Consulting in winning consulting deals incorporating SAP’s Global Delivery Model.
Next Generation Services Practice is focused on delivering Netweaver development implementation services in the areas of ECC (ABAP Development), Process Integration, Enterprise Portal, CE+BPM and Mobile Applications.
We are looking for a Senior Consultant who will be responsible for driving large engagements (through the entire lifecycle) and will be a thought leader in the organization. This Position will report to a Team Manager of the Next Generation Services Practice.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Strong technical integration experience in heterogeneous enterprises.
Understanding of contemporary PMO and project lifecycle processes as relates to ERP implementation
Clear understanding of functionality of SAP Business Suite components, what technology each components leverages and how Business Suite components fit in overall picture including awareness of various Bolt-On and peripheral components to provide end2end business functionality
Clear understanding of SAP Technology Platform and how different technology components interact and work together
Must have strong technical skills and experience with SAP R/3 Basis administration and the comprehensive NetWeaver platform products including Portal, MDM, BW and PI
Experience as a developer using the SAP-provided ABAP and WebDynPro toolsets
Ability to work in a matrix team environment.
Experience driving disciplined software lifecycle development such as CMM/CMMI
Effective communicator both verbal and written, particularly presentations of technical material
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field. SAP ERP certification in applications and NetWeaver
Formal exposure to IT architecture standards and contemporary best practices
Demonstrate knowledge of issues affecting the customer and their industry as a whole, and demonstrate ability to communicate effectively with the customer using their language and provide effective solutions for the customers.
Demonstrate ‘Executive Presence’ in order to effectively communicate with higher level managements at customers and to advise them on strategic topic. An architect must have
strong convictions and opinions based on knowledge and experience and demonstrate appropriate dressing sense
Demonstrate knowledge and ability to effectively utilize a defined set of internal tools and methodologies to ensure repeatable and systematic problem solving
Capacity to understand complex situations, see patterns and uses, create concepts, and assemble pieces of information into a cohesive whole
