Annamacharya Institute of Technology and Sciences ( AITS ), Rajampet, was established in the year 1998 at Thallapaka, the birth place of Saint Poet Annamacharya. The Institute is located on the National Highway, Chennai-Mumbai, at about 75 Km from Tirupati airport. Rajampet, a Revenue Division Headquarters, is well connected by road and rail. The institute was granted UGC Autonomous status and is also accredited by a number of organizations such as institution of Engineers. The college is recognized by UGC under sections 2(f) & 12(B).
The college is one of the premier institutions in the state of with B.Tech Courses in 6 disciplines and M.Tech courses in 9 specializations along with MBA & MCA courses. Continuous efforts are being made to take the institute to much higher level.
The institute is sponsored by Annamacharya Educational Trust, which founded a number of Educational institutions including three more Engineering colleges with the same name Annamacharya institute of Technology and Sciences at Hyderabad, Tirupati and Kadapa.
AITS, Rajampet, is looking for eligible Faculty Members with Ph.D. Degrees In the disciplines of Civil, Engineering, EEE, ECE, Mechanical Engineering, CSE and Information Technology.
Salary : Commensurate with qualifications and experience ( AICTE VI Pay Scales ).
